What makes it great: Living downtown comes at a price. There are many luxury buildings downtown that come with big price tags. If you want to experience downtown DC, consider a one bedroom with a den. 400 Mass is a newer building, built in 2004. The apartment has great windows, hardwood floors, new appliances, granite counter tops and a larger than life bathroom. The rooftop has picturesque views and a small pool. Chinatown has easy access to the metro, great restaurants in Penn Quarter and is walking distance to events at the Verizon Center.
Why you should think twice: It seems like 1000 square feet and the huge bathroom would be easy to share, but a den could create some issues. There is no mention of the square footage and there is always a chance that it may not have windows.
