LEASED

Every renter has a price point. The trick is to embrace that price point and do your research. A logical thought would be that all two bedroom apartments in this price range are a good deal. This is not the case. What makes the DC rental market so tough is that there is a large range of quality in specific price points. My point is, don’t be fooled and don’t settle. Below are two two bedroom apartments that are worth the $2600 price tag.

OPTION ONE

OPTION TWO

 $2600

2 BD/2 BA: NA

Adams Morgan

No utilities included

Which one should you chose? The easy answer to this question is that there is no right answer. Every renter has certain must-haves and these priorities vary by renter. Here is how these apartments stack up. Option two has immediate appeal because it has two bathrooms rather than one. It has hardwood floors in both the living area and bedrooms. Though the square footage isn’t listed for option two, I would be surprised if it was larger than option one’s 900 square feet. Option one has a newer kitchen than option two, but both bedrooms are carpeted. It is hard to tell what kind of amenities option two has. It is a condominium building so there isn’t much information available. Option one has a rooftop and a gym.
