OTM: Not Quite Micro

“Microapartments” are all the rage in densely populated cities like New York and Hong Kong. They usually don’t exceed 350 square feet and are extremely sparse. Common characteristic include beds, desks, tables, that can all be folded up into the wall. Basically the room can morph based on what your needs are at any given time. These apartment aren’t as popular here but there are some that rival the “microapartment” square footage. Here is an apartment that I feel in love with in Kalorama. The problem? Only 371 square feet for $1575. Could you live here? Click here to see the original listing and schedule a tour.
