Take two at The Calverton. The Calverton is another WC Smith with the old world charm that I crave. Located on Columbia Road, almost equidistance between Adams Morgan and Columbia Heights, this building is in an awesome location. The units have hardwood floors, 10 foot ceilings, bay windows, stainless steel appliances, and walk-in closets. The Calverton has a level of craftsmanship that simply no longer exists. Lucky for you, there are two units currently available. There is a one bedroom and a studio to suit various budgets.
Why haven’t I checked out this building for myself? Thought I love the charm, I have my heart set on Kalorama. This building is just a tad bit north of where I want to be. My loss, your gain.
