LEASED

I was not surprised that The Callumet was beautiful both inside and out, but I still left floored. First of all, the building is exquisite and in an awesome location. Located right on the corner of 3rd Street NE and East Capitol Street NE, the building sits on a corner lot with a lush front yard– obviously exclusively for tenants. Even the front door is striking. Through the large piece of glass you can see the first glimpse of the marble staircase.

With only 12 apartments total, vacancies don’t happen often. A two bedroom just opened up on the third floor for $2745. This price includes all of your utilities except electric. I was lucky enough to tour an apartment that is occupied and wonderfully decorated. Between the actual space and the design choices, I left re-thinking my whole decorating scheme at home.

These historic apartments have the charming elements that you just can’t find in new construction. Features include oversized bay windows, high ceilings, and beautifully worn hardwood floors. These units also have in-unit washer and dryers, dishwashers, central air, and tons of closet space.

Last but not least, there are some killer views. Easily spot The Capitol, The Library of Congress, and Supreme Court from your living room window.

Thank you to the sweet girls that let me photograph their apartment. I am not promising your apartment will look like this but now you see The Callumet’s true potential.
