I have recently mentioned that it is becoming harder to find good deals in the city. When I started this site, I wanted to showcase places that were actually affordable and desirable. I set a certain price point and haven’t looked back. I am starting to wonder if I need to adjust my thinking. The market has changed a lot in just a few years. Is it time to rethink what is considered “affordable” in DC? I am hesitant to go too high because I am still a firm believer that your rent shouldn’t rival a mortgage payment. Here are a few places that are a little pricey but maybe worth it?
