What makes it great: It’s no secret that this is one of my favorite buildings in Kalorama. Beyond being a beautiful building, it is well managed and super pet friendly. Whenever I have friends with pets looking for places, I send them to The Shawmut. You will get so much bang for your buck. The two bedroom apartments are huge. Most even have a little bonus space off of one bedroom, perfect for a study area/office. Grab this place before it’s gone!
Why you should think twice: No central– wall units and radiator heat.
