What makes it great: Beyond being a great price, I have a good feeling about this english basement. The landlord could have presented this place many different ways but just based on the ad, I feel like he is fair and honest. First of all, he could have jacked up the rent to include the parking spot. Instead, he is giving you the option for $100 a month. Utilities are similar, you can either split with the tenants upstairs or agree on a fixed monthly amount. There is also a great walk-through on YouTube. Based on all the evidence, the landlord is trying to be as fair and transparent as possible. Pets ok too.
Why you should think twice: The video is great but I feel like the apartment seems smaller than I imagined.
