I know I already ranted about the housing market and multiple offers driving up prices, BUT it is just insane. I was just going through some of my previous picks that have closed and it’s crazy– $20k over asking, $30k over asking, even $50k over asking. My point is, be prepared. If your budget is $55ok, look at places that are $500k because the odds are that you are going into a bidding war. If you are ready to go to war for a place, I am really feeling houses this week. There are some really cool places this week, even yes, a carriage house. The Kalorama gem is hitting the market after almost 30 years. I was also able to hit every quadrant of the city.
