Monday

Happy Monday! Today’s sample is all about finding that sweet compromise between quality and quantity. Two properties that especially caught my eye include the newly renovated and absolutely gorgeous English basement in Capitol Hill and the large 2 BR in the classic brick Dupont Circle townhouse. Enjoy!

$1675 / 1br – Efficient Modern Living in this Renovated English Basement (Capitol Hill)

What caught my eye about this property is the low price tag matched with some impeccable interior design. One note is that there does not seem to be square footage listed – and judging from the photos, space might be tight – but worth it regardless. Located in the heart of Eastern Market!

$2350 / 1br – 650ft2 – 14th St and U St on quiet tree lined Swann Street near metro (14th and Swann)

This gem, (located near 14th/U Street) has a spacious, open concept that I do not always see in basement apartments. Although the kitchen area may be a bit on the smaller side, this apartment has everything you could possibly need in an incredibly prime location – including a nice backyard area for summer cookouts and other socials.

$2400 / 1br – 600ft2 – Beautiful 1 br ON Logan Circle! (Washington)

How cool would it be to say you actually live ON Logan Circle? This property, located at 24 Logan Circle, has a ton of great perks: a beautiful wood-burning fireplace (!), a bay window view of the Circle, and all the standards like W/D in unit. Such a good steal in a highly sought after area!

$2885 / 2br – 1000ft2 – Beautiful Dupont 2bed/1bath Apartment (2125 N St Nw)

This property caught my attention because of the amount of space you are getting – a TWO BR for under $3,000/month in Dupont Circle! The interior is also stunning – the wood floors, natural light, and use of white throughout create a real sense of openness.

$2195 / 1br – 850ft2 – Newly renovated english basement – One block to Logan Circle! (Logan Circle, Dupont Circle, Shaw)

This english basement apartment, newly renovated and only one block from Logan Circle, is incredible. The apartment does not look or feel like a basement (having lived in one before myself) – and is SPACIOUS: 850 square feet, ample storage, and a beautiful kitchen with tons of room for getting creative in your culinary adventures.

Thanks for reading, everyone – have a great week!
