$1675 / 1br – 800ft2 – Beautiful Updated English Basement/NoMA/Gallaudet/Union Market (NoMa)
What’s great: I love that this English Basement has a lot of light and high ceilings. The apartment is very updated and looks like a great set up too. Big kitchen, great bathroom. 800 square feet is fairly big for a one bedroom, this would be a smart option for a couple too.
Why you should think twice: Exact location not provided but it’s a little bit of a walk from a metro. It looks like the unit, and I’d assume house, is renovated but noise from upstairs is always something good to ask about or make sure to hear.

$1700 / 1br – 600ft2 – by Owner UNIQUE Glover Park private entrance and private patio 1bed
What’s great: Not a whole lot of information provided — looks like a great Glover Park apartment with a big living space and bedroom. Smaller kitchen but still has good counter space and there’s room for a little two person table. There’s an outside area too!
Why you should think twice: You’re a trek from the metro, but there are bus options. Again, no details on utilities, etc.

$1800 / 1br – 500ft2 – DELIGHTFUL DUPONT CONDO W/ UTILITIES INCLUDED!
What’s great: Corcoran Street is a quiet street in the middle of everything — ideal. The floors of this English Basement really brighten up the place, in addition to updated lighting. It seems spacious for 500 square feet and I think you could do a lot with a little interior design love. Utilities included!
Why you should think twice: Not a huge fan of some of those walls. You may have to get creative with your living space being that it’s a small place.

$1950 / 1br – 500ft2 – 1BDRM 1 BATH APT AVAILABLE NOW (DuPont Circle/ U street
What’s great: Sunlight, storage, washer and dryer, hardwood floors, and that closet! Beautiful foyer, for whatever that’s worth to you, and a fantastic location. Small space with a good sized kitchen.
Why you should think twice: Not sure about how big of a bed or how much bedroom furniture you could fit in there. 16th street is busy and you could get a lot of noise from outside. Worth checking out.

$1990 / 1br – 577ft2 – Adams Morgan/Kalorama 1Br/1Ba ($1990) (2410 20th St NW APT 102, Washington, DC)
What’s great: The floors, layout, light, and location.
Why you should think twice: Kitchen is renovated but could feel cramped with more than one person in there.
