I’m being dramatic but one of these listings does come with a somewhat unusual request. There is a sweet, furnished english basement in Cleveland Park that you can score for only $1500. The catch? You must be willing to shovel the front steps of the house when it snows. Kinda weird but not completely farfetched. My guess is that a sweet older person lives upstairs and they are renting out their basement for some extra cashflow and help during the winter months. Why not save on rent and help out a person in need? It’s a win, win.

Anybody know anything about the “Tree-top Views” listing? $2400 for a two bedroom near U Street seems too good to be true. It also seems unusual that all three units in the building would be available at the same time. On the other hand, this house does need some love and it could have been previously occupied by a large group.
