What makes it great: In this english basement you are getting a lot for your money. Not only would roommates each have their own private bathrooms, there is a half bath for guests. This is extremely hard to find. Usually one roommate gets stuck sharing their bathroom with guests. Second, there is a washer and dryer in the unit. Overall, I have to admit that the space is nicely done. Often english basements are tiled, making it feel like a basement. This owner has gone the extra mile and installed carpet and built-in bookcases. They have successfully created a space that is comfortable and functional. The unit is also spacious with about 1000 square feet of living space.
Why you should think twice: The obvious drawback is that this is an english basement. The windows are pretty small in the living room and there aren’t any other windows pictured. I would be curious to see if the bedrooms have any natural light. The other concern is safety, unlike an apartment building, controlled access is not guaranteed.
