What makes it great: There is no denying that 14th Street has quickly become one of the best places to eat, drink, and socialize. This gorgeous Victorian row house is right in the heart of it. Yes this is an english basement, but it has some redeeming qualities. Large bay windows bring in a ton of light into the living area. There is also a window in the back of the unit. There is faux fireplace that adds nice character. There is a washer and dryer in the unit and the appliances are fairly up to date.
Why you should think twice: I think that this is a little bit pricey for an english basement, but you are paying for location and a true bedroom. Also, I would prefer hardwoods over carpet. However the carpet is better than the tiling that is popular in most english basements.
