Two units in the same apartment building with the same square footage should mean the same price. Not necessarily. Here is an example of two units in the same building that vary drastically in price. This is due to the fact that one is on the top floor and the other is on the ground floor. The views are certainly better from the top but are they $250 better? The ground floor unit is 500 square feet and listed at $1425 and the top floor unit is 500 square feet and listed at $1675. The top floor unit has a newer kitchen which justifies a price increase but still $250 more? Check out the units and judge for yourself.
If you fall in love with an apartment in a building you think you can’t afford, always check the ground floor. Lower units are ofter offered at reduced prices. On the flip side, don’t get tricked into paying $250 more for the same unit on another floor.
