In my book, anything under 400 square feet is just too small. A common mistake people make when imagining a studio space is assuming that the total square footage is equal to the total amount of living space. Once you factor in a kitchen, bathroom, and hopefully a walk-in closet, your living space has been severely diminished. The appeal of a small studio is that you can get a nicer apartment, in a better neighborhood for a reasonable price. Here are a few studios in the 400 square foot range:
440 Square Feet Near U Street: $1320
