What makes it great: This is always my problem. One day I wake up lusting after a place that is sleek and modern, the next I want something with old world charm. This junior one bedroom in Dupont fulfills the latter. Located in a converted row house with only six units, the is beyond boutique. How can you not fall in love with this fireplace? The small alcove and hardwood floors, seal the deal. The high ceilings also give the illusion of more space.
Why you should think twice: Initially blinded by the fireplace, I did’t realize that the kitchen is a problem. Not only is it a kitchenette, it’s small and bleeds into the living space. Also, I could definitely do without the wire shelving.
