What makes it great: This apartment is located in the sweet spot that is not quite Dupont, Adams Morgan, or U Street. It is hard to define the neighborhood because it is so close to all three. I like all of the original charm of the space. It may seem a little run down but it’s nothing a little TLC can’t fix. There are hardwood floors throughout. The ad notes that the bedrooms are similar is size, making this a great place to share. Pets ok.
Why you should think twice: There isn’t a washer and dryer in the unit or in the building. The ad claims the landlord will soon install one in the basement but I wouldn’t hold your breath. This is a huge drawback.
