What makes it great: The Cairo is a condominium building with a lot of history. Constructed in the late 1800’s, this is DC’s tallest residential building. At the time it was considered a “residential skyscraper.” Because of its old age it has awesome features like exposed brick walls, hardwood floors, and high ceilings. There is a rooftop deck which has some of the best views in Dupont. There are also some upgrades like central air and a dishwasher.
