Lindsay Souza is the brains behind The Pursuit of Style, a DC interior design blog. Like most of us in DC, Lindsay came to the city to pursue a career in politics. Her life took a turn when her creative outlet grew in popularity. The Pursuit of Style launched what is now a successful career in interior design. Lindsay’s keen eye for color and antiques has gotten her noticed by some of the most popular design publications like Apartment Therapy and Refinery 29. Lindsay’s home is bright, unique, and full of one of a kind pieces. As for finding her perfect Capitol Hill home, Craigslist strikes again!
EBDC: How did you find your home?
LS: We found our place thanks to a lucky Craigslist search. I was thrilled to find a building with some history and loads of charm.
EBDC: What about your home inspires you?
LS: Our bedroom is one of my favorite spots in the house because it gets fantastic light thanks to three windows. My desk is pushed right up against them and in the spring the prettiest lavender flowers bloom on the tree outside. It’s not a bad spot to get some work done!
