I have probably walked past this apartment building a million times and never thought about the apartments inside. The location is fabulous but you never know what’s waiting for you until you get inside. Luckily, Fitzgerald Properties let me get the first look at the only opening in the building. It didn’t take long for me to realize that these units go fast and stay occupied. The small building only has 12 units and three floors. This means every unit is a corner unit. Walking into the lobby, the flooring is beautiful antique tiles. Up the stairs is a spacious two bedroom, one bathroom apartment overflowing with character and charm.
As we walked in, Fitzgerald staff was just finishing up the final touches. One person had already viewed the apartment, pre-touchups. These are all signs that this place will go quickly. Walking in there is an expansive foyer that flows into the living area. The living area and kitchen are a little tight but the tall ceilings and large windows make a huge difference. The second bedroom can be accessed through two separate doors: one off the living area and one off the foyer. The master is a tad larger and on the other end of the apartment.
The charm and character is easy to see from the pictures. However, it still has a modern flair. I love that they chose to paint the walls a cool light grey. It is a welcomed departure from the usual stark white walls in rentals. The bathroom has been completely updated and features a beautiful spa like shower with glass doors. There is a washer and dryer in the unit and the unit has central air.
