What makes it great: Did I just fall in love with a houseboat? The concept of a houseboat is kinda crazy but it’s hard to ignore this place’s charm. It’s hard to think about hanging out on a houseboat in the winter, but this could be the ultimate hang out in the summer. With the view, water, and roof deck, I would never leave. It would feel like a constant vacation. I also love the quaint kitchen and cheerful yellow door. This place is definitely for someone with an adventurous spirit who just can’t get enough of the water.
Here is the math: Assuming a down payment of 20% and a 30 year loan with a 4% interest rate, your mortgage payment would be about $850. Then add the $152 HOA fee. As for taxes, I have NO idea how it works for a house boat.
