Welcome to The Castle. I started browsing upcoming open houses and stumbled across this condo in one of DC’s recognizable properties. The price may be shocking but I have seen other properties in this price range that are far less impressive. The building was built in 1886! That kind of character isn’t something that you can manufacture. The main floor features a fireplace, bay windows, and a custom bookcase. I will admit that I don’t love the window treatments but those can be changed. The layout is a little bit strange because both bedrooms and the kitchen are actually downstairs. If I had almost $600k to spend, I am not sure this would be the way that I would go but it sure is fun to take a look inside this beautiful old building. See it for yourself this Sunday from 1-4.
