What makes it great: Over the weekend, I popped into one of Dupont’s newest apartment for a tour. I have no intention of moving but it is always fun to see the latest and greatest places. The building was beautiful, well located, and overflowing with amenities. I was prepared for some sticker shock but my mind was actually blown. The most “affordable” one bedroom will set you back $3k. That’s $3k for a little over 500 square feet. No amount of Bosch appliances can right that wrong. Needless to say, I was glad to find this place. Yes, it is all the way in Takoma but the commute may be worth the money saved and the extra living space.
Why you should think twice: It’s far from downtown.
