What makes it great: With so many scams out there, it is easy to become cynical. I recently heard from a reader that she stumbled upon a gem of an english basement in Columbia Heights for only $1300. Unfortunately, four people had already seen it and asked for applications. If you want to stand out to the landlord, offer to move in ASAP and sign a long term lease. That situation inspired me to really dig for something similar. I came up with this place and it seems like a pretty great deal. Have at it.
Why you should think twice: The unit is unfurnished but the previous tenant is leaving a few things. Make sure you have room for these things or come up with a plan to get rid of them.
