Sweet Bachelor Pad on 14th: $600,000
This place is unpractical for so many reasons. First of all, $600k is pretty steep for a one bedroom. Second, this is more of a loft space than a true one bedroom. It is true that there are few loft concepts in DC so this does make the space special, but again, not necessarily practical. However, I had to share because of the stunning details (hi, exposed brick) and desirable location.
Fresh and Airy Two Bedroom on Georgia Avenue: $569,900
It’s sometime frustrating looking at listings in Petworth because some listings are soooo far from the metro. I was pleasantly surprised to see that this pretty condo is an easy walk down Georgia Avenue to the metro. Built in 2017, this condo has finishes that are modern while still timeless. In my opinion, white kitchens and spa inspired bathrooms never go out of style. It is also nice that this place has two good sized bedrooms and two bathrooms for under $600k.
One Bedroom with Den, Patio, and Parking on Chapin: $524,900
This property has a lot of bonuses. With a den, a private patio, and parking you are getting more than just your standard one bedroom condo. It is also a block from Meridian Hill Park, and an easy walk to either Columbia Heights or U Street. For this reason, I feel like this is a place that could work for all types of families: singles, couples, couples with babies, etc. All at a great price!
True Two Bedroom for a Steal on Chapin: $495,000
If you leave the listing above thinking you really need a true two bedroom, mosey on down Chapin and check out this unit. It is a true two bedroom for a shockingly good price. My suspicions are that this unit may lack natural light and with only 784 square feet to work with, the rooms are going to be small. The price could also be a gimmick to get multiple offers and drive up the price. Either way, it’s worth a look.
