What makes it great: This is a true one bedroom, english basement. It’s tough to find a comfortable english basement. This one fits the bill. I don’t always prefer carpet but in this instance it works. Most english basements are tiled. This can really make the space feel cold and dark. The carpet and exposed brick wall make the apartment cozy and urban. The kitchen looks fairly up to date and the wine rack is a nice touch. There is a washer and dryer in the unit.
Why you should think twice: The obvious reason is that it is an english basement. However, it would be near impossible to find an affordable, traditional apartment on this specific street. No pets allowed.
