What makes it great: I recently posted another apartment that just seemed too good to be true. Here we go again. I really hope this isn’t a scam. If it’s not, this is the deal of century. This is a true one bedroom, only about a block from U Street. It is in a converted townhouse and appears to be in pristine condition. The unit has hardwood floors throughout and a cute galley kitchen with a pass through. The architecture is interesting. I particularly love the curved walls.
Why you should think twice: I am trying to justify the low price of the unit. The kitchen is outdated. The bathroom is also awkwardly located off the bedroom, so guests will need to go through your bedroom. The ad mentions that the landlord resides on the premises. Maybe they will be closer than you think?
