I have a bad habit of always looking ahead. As I move into this next stage of life, all I can think about is buying a house. And when I say house, I mean a single family, detached home– a rarity in DC. As I scour the market, I realize that I am missing out on some pretty cool opportunities. It’s time to take the blinders off and get outside of my box. Living in a city means you may have reevaluate what what “home” means. The reality is that home can be a swanky condo or a charming english basement. This week I am going back to routes and looking at starter homes with loads of potential.
