A DIY loft. I can’t decide if this is a cool addition or an architectural faux pas. Lets begin with the obvious fact that this was a last minute trick to create a sleeping space. Studios that have a separate sleeping area are definitely more desirable but I’m not sure that this was the best way to do it. Stylistically, the structure does not have the charm or character of the rest of the space. I hate to say it but this space may be more appealing without this ginormous structure.
