What makes it great: This is either a scam or the deal of the century. This Victorian townhouse is advertised as having four bedrooms and four and a half baths. The house has hardwood floors, bay windows, and exposed brick walls. There is deck off of the kitchen and a parking space is out back. My favorite feature is the built-in bench by the staircase. There is a washer and dryer in-unit. The metro is only a few blocks away.
Why you should think twice: This place is way below market value. This could be explained by the fact that it’s a short term lease. The ad says it’s available for three months but a month-to-month extension is possible. An EBDC reader reported that he lived in the house and it wasn’t in great shape.
