Over the last few years there has been a big migration east leaving some people asking, is Georgetown dead? Many millennials are opting for the lower prices of emerging neighborhoods and easy metro access. Where does that leave Georgetown? I think that Georgetown remains one of DC’s most desirable neighborhoods but unfortunately for Georgetown , that list has become longer and more competitive. However, it is hard to deny Georgetown’s charm and strong sense of history. There is a 1900’s duplex that just came on the market at 1654 Avon Place NW.
