What makes it great: This beach-y two bedroom is light and bright, and only a few blocks from the U Street metro. Recently renovated, the open concept kitchen flows nicely into the living space. Some people think that white appliances are dated but I think they work in this space. The living room is spacious with large windows. There is a washer and dryer in the unit and it has central air. The apartment is in a small boutique building.
Why you should think twice: Based on the size and age of the building, I am going to guess that it’s a walk-up. The apartment is on the second floor so expect to get some exercise. It also looks like there may not be a door to one of the bedrooms, note the curtain. Roommates will need to share a bathroom.
