What makes it great: In downtown DC, parking is as good as gold. This two bedroom apartment includes indoor, on-site parking. The Wardman is an historic building that has been recently restored and the actual unit has many upgrades. Upgrades include a washer and dryer, dishwasher, stainless steel appliances, and granite countertops. Both U Street and Columbia Heights metro stations are within walking distance. Even if you don’t have a car, this is a great deal for two.
Why you should think twice: The charm of the building doesn’t translate into the actual unit. I’m not sure how I feel about the disconnect. Roommates will need to share a bathroom.
