What makes it great: I often feature rentals in Glover Park because you can get double the space compared to downtown. This doesn’t mean that all places in Glover are great. Some look pretty run down. This one bedroom was a nice surprise. The hardwood floors are in good shape (with the exception of the kitchen, but I kind of like the look?) and I love all the big windows. For the price you are getting a private bedroom, screened-in porch, and a backyard. There is a washer and dryer in the unit. Pets ok.
Why you should think twice: Glover is great if you have a car but otherwise it can be a bit isolating. Without a car you will need to depend heavily on the bus system. No central air.
