What makes it great: I rarely post anything this far north but bear with me. Tenleytown can be cool. It’s on the red line, there is a Whole Foods, and a few excellent restaurants. I recently had lunch at Bread and Salt and it was awesome. Check it out. The biggest appeal is that you can get a pretty large apartment for not a lot of money. This big one bedroom is only $1395 and it’s not a basement.
Why you should think twice: Tenleytown is a bit of a hike from downtown but it may be worth it to save some money.
