What makes it great: Lately I have been spending a good amount of time in Eckington with clients. For those of you who aren’t familiar, it is the neighborhood just east of Bloomingdale. Basically, as soon as you cross over North Capitol, you are there. The neighborhood doesn’t have as much going on in terms of bars and restaurants but that is only a matter of time. The appeal is that you can get some pretty nice places at a reasonable price and still have easy access to the metro. This english basement has been nicely renovated and the upstairs neighbors would love to be your friend. The apartment is completely private and you have the option of a short term lease or furnishings.
Why you should think twice: I don’t understand the parking situation. Can you park behind the house? It’s not really clear.
