What makes it great: The words “rent controlled” should be music to your ears. Unlike new construction, apartment buildings that fall under rent control can’t jack up the rent each year. If you move into this place, your rent can only go up a very small percentage each year. That’s a win. Although the square footage isn’t listed, I can tell this studio is large because of all of the furniture. It would be tough to fit a work space and formal dining area into a smaller studio. Also love the dining room setup.
Why you should think twice: Usually rent controlled places aren’t as modern.
