Open House Roundup

As I was writing this post, one of my picks went under contract. I’m sad to say that the change in seasons has not slowed down the competitive market for buyers. Lucky for you, there are two properties on my list this week that have been on the market for a whopping seven days. That is an eternity in DC real estate world. I think I know why these properties have lasted. The Dupont and Kalorama units are lower level. We all know that those units are a little harder to move. However, I would consider jumping on either of these places because they both have easy access to outdoors space. For some who maaaaayyyy be considering a puppy, this feels like a real bonus. Drawbacks include security, risk of flooding, and lack of natural light. If those units don’t do it for you, I would go for the historic gem on Capitol Hill. The finishes may not be everyone’s cup of tea but as the saying goes, “They just don’t make them like they used to.” This beauty would really shine with an owner who was willing to make a few updates while preserving the historic integrity. For information on any of these opens, shoot me a note.
