Open House Roundup

You are probably thinking that my favorite open house this weekend is the tiny house in Georgetown– the beams, fireplace, patio, etc. It’s just a dream. As much as I love the esthetic of the tiny (i.e. 576 square foot house) row house, a home that size just isn’t practical unless you have the intention of living a minimalist lifestyle or you are trying to crush it on AirBnB. My pick is actually the two bedroom condo in Ledroit. I am such a sucker for conversions. Schools, churches, you name it. What makes this property unique, beyond obviously the exposed brick, are the soaring ceilings (14 feet) and the huge windows (12 feet.) I also feel like this is a property you could grow into. It is cool enough for a bachelor pad but has functional features like an open floor plan, parking, and a storage unit which could work for a growing family.
