What makes it great: The Melwood is one of my favorite buildings in this area. It is historic and seemingly well maintained. This is actually the least expensive studio I have seen available in this building. The unit has hardwood floors, a semi-walk in closet, and a separate kitchen. It looks like both the kitchen and bathroom have nice updates. I do like that they kept the original subway tile in the bathroom. As I have said before, subway tile does not go out of style! All of your utilities are included and there is a 24 hour fitness center. Cats ok.
Why you should think twice: I am thinking the price is attributed to the size and the floor. You can usually find deals on lower floors of buildings. This is also not a big space. The sleeping/living area is only about 15′ x 11′. Good thing Adams Morgan is right outside your door!
