Remember my trip to Meridian Hill? More units are available and UIPPM is offering a special deal. Mention EBDC and they will waive your application fee if you move in before July 1. That’s an almost $50 value so don’t hesitate to apply for one of these awesome units. I raved about this place in the spring and units went quickly. What makes these apartments special? They are brand new. UIPPM just finished a high end renovation in six, one bedroom units. You will be the first to enjoy a slew of new furnishings. Upgrades include stainless steel kitchen appliances (including a dishwasher), new countertops, new cabinetry, and new flooring.
Again, these are true one bedrooms. When I toured Meridian Hill, I was surprised by what a difference a bedroom makes. I thought that dividing the space would make it feel cramped. I was wrong. Two rooms makes it easy to create two distinct spaces, and two spaces make the apartment feel twice as big. UIPPM was also smart in their renovations. The unit I looked at had a very open kitchen. Opening up the kitchen created another illusion of space. Open spaces are also fun to decorate because you aren’t confined to a single configuration.
Tucked away on Ontario Road, a short walk to both Columbia Height and Adams Morgan, this area of DC is full of older buildings. The misconception is that an older building means an older apartment. Meridian Hill makes the best of both worlds possible. You get the history and charm of a historic neighborhood, without the sacrifices of an older building. When I say sacrifices, I mean lack of central air and a basement laundry room. Meridian Hill has you covered. Each unit has its own washer and dryer and individually controlled air conditioning system.
