What makes it great: This one bedroom apartment is definitely at the top of my budget criteria but I think it is worth a look. First of all, it’s an awesome location. It is less than two block from the Capitol South Metro and all of the Capitol Hill hangouts. Second, the unit is spacious. With about 725 square feet of living space, this place could very comfortably accommodate an individual or a couple. The final selling point is the renovation. The landlord has added new appliances (including a dishwasher), a washer and dryer, granite countertops, new windows, new blinds, and an upgraded bathroom. The list goes on.
Why you should think twice: Despite all the upgrades, there is still no central air. The apartment is on the third floor of what looks like a walk-up. No pets. Exact address not given.
