What makes it great: I have come across a listing in this building one other time since starting EBDC. I immediately fell in love with the family owned vibe. The small apartment building is family managed and all tenants receive a discount at the family bookstore. Management “works hard to build a stronger Capitol Hill community.” How cool is that? The apartment has wood floors, a working fireplace, and large windows. The roof deck has an awesome view. Eastern Market is a 10 minute walk away. Cats ok.
Why you should think twice: There are two apartments available. Both will be undergoing renovation before move in. This is a bonus but it could delay move-in.
