What makes it great: An easy walk to both Glover Park and Georgetown this funky duplex gets an A for location. A duplex is appealing because the set of stairs makes you feel like you are in house rather than an apartment. This layout would be great for roommates because there is a bedroom and bathroom on each floor. The mail level has hardwood floors and a master suite with an en suite bathroom. The bottom floor has the second bedroom and bathroom. Bottom line is that a two bedroom, two bath apartment would be hard to find at this price point in any neighborhood. This duplex’s location, makes it a deal that can’t be passed up.
Why you should think twice: The layout is great for separate roommates but it may be difficult to entertain. The main level is most appealing but the only bathroom on this level is in the master bedroom. Guests will have to walk through the master or go downstairs. No central air and no pets allowed. No metro access.
