What makes it great: Before talking about all the beautiful architectural features of this home, I have to point out the price. If you are in a roommate situation, you could live here for less than $1000 a month. That is pretty good for DC standards. The house has beautiful original features like hardwood floors with inlay, arched entry ways, and two fireplaces. The kitchen has been completely updated and is open to the living area. There is a driveway behind the house that can accommodate one car.
Why you should think twice: The house is tucked pretty far back in Mt Pleasant so you will have a bit of a walk to Columbia Heights or Cleveland Park metro. On the upside, it is nice to have access to both.
