Investment Opp in Brookland: $260,000

Yes it is still possible to find a deal in Brookland. There isn’t much to this unit but it’s a decent size (560 square feet.) There are some nice details but definitely room for improvement and adding value.

Traditional Two Bedroom in Quiet NW Neighborhood: $432,500

As much fun as it is to push the envelope when designing, I can’t help but be a traditionalist at heart. This two bedroom near Observatory Circle has timeless updates. It’s light and bright with over 1000 square feet of living space. That’s tough to find under the $500k mark. Beware condo fees are high. However, you can park for only $30 a month.

Affordable Two Bedroom in Bloomingdale: $499,000

Again this is another phenomenal deal for a two bedroom condo– bonus, this has two bathrooms. All located in trendy Bloomingdale, this place will definitely go fast. My one concern is fitting two bedroom and two bathrooms in less than 800 square feet. Either this place is expertly laid out or a cramped disaster. You will have to see it in person to be sure.

Stylish Ground Level Unit on U Street: $574,900

GetMedia-3

You heard that right. This unit is actually on U Street. Not near, but on. This may not appeal to some but for those who want to be close to the action, come check this place out. I am usually turned off by ground level units but this two bedroom has some redeeming qualities. First of all, it’s a good price point for a two bedroom. I love the design and color scheme. The unit was also designed with roommates in mind. The second bedroom has its own entrance.

Hello Pierce School Lofts: $599,000

GetMedia-4

It was love at first sight when I saw this bathroom. It is completely over the top. It would be tough to justify spending nearly $600k for an open loft space with only one bedroom, but maybe it would be worth it for some? The rest of the loft has the same jaw-dropping features. If you aren’t sold, you should check out the building’s pool. Magical. These school conversions get me every time.

House Goals in Bloomingdale: $795,000

Another gem in Bloomingdale. Seeing houses like this make me kick myself that I didn’t get into the Bloomingdale market when I could have. Prices in this neighborhood have absolutely soared. Can you blame people for wanting charming and spacious homes with an easy commute downtown? This home is especially appealing with over 1400 square feet of living space and three bedrooms. Parking and garage door too.
